A downloadable game

The first full-length strategy role-playing game made with Python Turtle!

Bipole IV: Liberation of Xuir is a tactical RPG with over 50 playable characters, a story that changes depending on your actions, and 10 possible endings. You play as Proton Xurr, a Proto-Xuir who escaped from the Shadow Realm as a child. Decades later, you must return to the Shadow Realm to retrieve the Holy Itucher and save the world.

Gameplay

The game features turn-based tactics gameplay with several unlockable skills for each character. Your actions, both during gameplay and during cutscenes, will drastically alter the story, leading to many different character interactions and endings per playthrough.  Characters who are defeated are permanently dead, which may affect your adventure's outcome.

Between battles, you may unlock Bonus Conversations between your characters. These are additional cutscenes that occur when your characters have survived, which reward extra EXP and provides extra insight into the characters.

game doesn't work.. I can assume it is due to updates to python latest versions. Potentially worth converting games to exe so that they can run regardless of updates to python.

Hi, if you are having issues getting the game to run past the inital settings screen, the game has a bug where you have to run the file from the BipoleSRPG directory or sprites will not be found correctly (this is a game I made when I first started coding and is extremely poorly coded, sorry). If doing this doesn't fix the issue, could you me know if there is any error messages and what OS you are on? I never expected anyone outside of my friend group to have any interest in this game so I haven't done much to the code lately, but I can look into it if there is an issue.
